The Inlets Condos for Sale – Siesta Key, Sarasota, Florida
Written by admin on January 27th, 2012
If you're looking for a home you and your whole family can escape to every year, you may want to consider investing in Siesta Key real estate. only minutes from downtown Sarasota and the city's cultural offerings, this southwestern Florida barrier island is close enough to the airport for long distance travel. In addition, Siesta Key is remote enough to allow you to leave all your worries behind and think of nothing but rest and relaxation for the next few days or so.
While the island has a number of activities for tourists, snowbirds and regular vacationers can still find a quiet little corner where the whole family can enjoy a little down time. Siesta Key is geographically divided into three main parts, according to its beaches: Siesta Beach, Crescent Beach, and Turtle Beach.
Siesta Beach is the most popular destination for tourists. Being the largest public beach on the island, this award-winning shoreline is practically a public park. Tennis and volleyball courts are available for visitors, the huge parking lot can accommodate 800 cars, a picnic area with barbecue grills is nicely set among shady trees, and some concession stands offer regular beach grub.
Crescent Beach is a more private version of Siesta Beach. with most of the gulf frontage taken up by residential developments, Crescent Beach is less crowded since public access is limited and most of the visitors are the residents of the beachfront condominiums. A unique feature of this area, though, is its diving and snorkeling spot. Point of Rocks is located on the southern end of Crescent Beach. the large limestone formation is inhabited by several marine species, including friendly dolphins that never fail to delight visitors with their playful exhibitions.
Turtle Beach on the southern tip of the island is least frequented due to its location. the remoteness, in fact, serves a purpose for Turtle Beach residents. the area is not only a tranquil and serene scene, but also a perfect place for couples and families looking for privacy. For those interested in Siesta Key real estate, the Turtle Beach area is ideal for fishing, boating, kayaking, and camping.
The Inlets at 9200 Midnight Pass Road is one residential development that is a short walking distance to Turtle Beach. Fronting the inlet that goes out to little Sarasota Bay, the Inlets real estate provides residents access to boat docks and a fishing pier. It is the ultimate vacation home if your idea of a holiday is one that involves plenty of water action.
You can choose from available condos for sale at the Inlets, which measure from approximately 900 to 110 square feet. Each unit includes a private lanai that offers a stunning water view. Units on the higher floors have an even better view, including the Gulf of Mexico and magical sunsets. If they're not fishing or boating, residents may bask under the sun at the community's heated pool. Price tags for the Inlets real estate range from $200,000 to $269,000.
Aside from Turtle Beach Campground, which has a picnic area by the lagoon, volleyball courts, a horseshoe pit, and playground, the Inlets is also close to the Turtle Beach Marina and some of the best fine dining restaurants on Siesta Key. You can revel in the feeling of isolation, but never have to worry about being any inconvenience.
